The activity known as plastic recycling process aims to reduce pollution rates by using the waste to produce brand new
products, ensuring it a new life and preserving virgin resources at the same time. Our commitment and research led us to
create a new product development: 100% Recyclable vacuum bags. Thanks to the use Mono PolyOlefins multilayer films (MPO) made of PE and PP, and to 11-layer co-extrusion technology it
contributes to sustainability and fulfills the requirements of the regulations in terms of packaging.
Primarily focused on sustainability, recycling and recyclability, this generation of films has been developed to make it
suitable for food preservation with a high barrier protection against moisture and oxygen by means of the EVOH layer.
Compared to a standard vacuum bag, Orved Recyclable bags guarantee a higher protection with 20% reduction of plastic use.
Composition and thickness of the film: PE / EVOH / PP, thickness 80 μm, weight ≈ 75 gr / m2.
Recyclability: 100% recyclable (min. 87% in accordance with Directive 94/62 / EC of the European Parliament)
Temperature range: -25°C ÷ 100°C, for sous-vide cooking max 100°C for 30min or 85°C for 2h.
The European community has definitively set the entry into force of the obligation to recycle all plastic packaging for 2030.
