Metro introduced the first Erecta shelf in 1956, but what many people don’t realize is that we have a long-standing history that dates all the way back to 1929.
Metro was founded in November of 1929 by Louis Maslow as Metropolitan Wire Goods Corporation.
Maslow, a self-educated engineer and an excellent wire mechanic, had the perception to see the application of wire products within the food service industry.
Metro currently holds over 200 patents and to this day Metro continues to be the epitome of high-quality storage products.

Metro C5 3 Series C533-HLFS-U Insulated Low Wattage Under-counter Heated Holding Cabinet with Solid Door.

 

Keep your prepared food hot, fresh, and ready to serve with the Metro C533-HLFS-U insulated under-counter heated holding cabinet!

Thanks to its powerful yet efficient 1440W heating system! The insulated cabinet holds food between 80- and 200-degrees Fahrenheit. Until its ready for service at your busy restaurant, banquet or bakery.

This unit has a durable field-reversible solid aluminum door with a high-strength magnetic latch that opens with ease. Loading and unloading products an effortless task.

Featuring Metro’s innovative Armor Plus technology, this cabinet uses a durable polymer construction that prevents damage and provides outstanding heat retention and energy efficiency while maintaining a cool-to-touch exterior.

The panels have molded-in hand holds that serve as vertical handles for moving the unit.

For structural integrity the shelves, the unit is comprised of high-quality stainless steel with an HDPE exterior.

User-friendly thermostatic controls include recessed dials, an on / off switch, and power indicator lights for easy operation.

Other great features of this holding cabinet include 5 pairs of universal wire slides. Slides are made of 1/4″ diameter nickel-chrome electroplated wire and are adjustable on 1 1/2″ increments. Plus, four 3″ swivel casters (2 with brakes) make it easy to transport the unit.

A 120V electrical connection is required for operation.
